An existing pool with a cramped sitting area and old fence was redesigned into a spacious entertaining space with a raised pergola for intimate seating. A new colored concrete patio was created around the pool and the fence was pushed away from the pool so the pergola could be added and is partially screened with colorful plantings. It was raised onto a deck because the land is sloping away in that area. The pergola provides a special place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. A long ledge rock staircase winds from the parking area to the lower pool area.
